Food, glorious food of Japan

The first time i came, i ate their Gorogoro Ramen, and unfortunately, i forgot how it tasted like lol. So this time i ordered their regular ramen, and man it is still as good. I ordered the regular size and it was a decent sized meal. Both filling and yummy! Taste wise, this was a good regular ramen. Price wise, maybe a little pricey, but hey, it's Japan.

This is the ever so famous Harajuku crepes, but this time i ate this below the great Tokyo Tower. I got the banana cheesecake crepe, and heck yes it was bomb! The service was damn fast, like i literally just ordered and got my hot fresh crepe right away. I've always loved bananas as desserts, and pair it up with a slice of cheesecake, caramel, and whipped cream all stuffed in a crepe, it is a perfect dessert!

Cookie Time! The first time i had Cookie Time was during our trip to New Zealand back in 2012. They have just opened up their Tokyo branch and yes the cookies are the same and still as good! Not talking about the packaged one cause honestly, i am not a really big fan of it. But talking about their soft warm cookies? Now that is heaven. I got this which is their Milk Cookie set, that comes with a souvenir bottle you can keep. The fresh milk can be substituted with either milk coffee or milk chocolate. To top it off, they out their mini warm cookies so you can munch and drink your milk away at the same time! The best part, you get to keep the kawaii bottle!

Aaaaah Disney, the wonderful magical world of Disney. This time, it is Disneysea! This is their famous Sea Salt Icecream Monaka. This is like a wafer vanilla icecream, but with a little sour twist, since it has raspberry jam in it. I think it is raspberry lol. It's a combination of both sweet, sour and milky, all tucked in a beautiful seashell shaped wafer. Magic.

This is Apple Custard Pastry! Taste wise, it is ok, nothing special. But come on, it's Mickey shaped!

My favourites from both Disneyland & Disneysea! These are the Little Green Man mochis or as the Japanese would call it, "Ritta Gurin Mang". It comes with 3 different flavor which are custard, chocolate and strawberry. Custard being my favourite and strawberry being my least. It is not just cute, in my opinion it is very veryyyyyyyyy yummy. The mochi is very bitey and the fillings are not super damn sweet.

This is Tiramisu Icecream from Disneysea! It's like eating a brownie and icecream at the same time. This one, it;s too good.

One of my favourite thing about Japan is that they have vending machines for everything, namely ICECREAAAAAAM! Not exaggerating, all of the icecreams are bomb dot com. Each and every single one. But this specific one is out of the world. It's looks like your typical wafer icecream but red bean filling, but man tell you, the taste is just, god. God bless Japan and their oishi cheap icecream.

This ladies and gentlemen, is the best chawanmushi and tendon i've ever had. Nestled in the busy streets of Ginza, you can find this halal restaurant hidden away in the 2nd floor of INZ mall. Let me start off with the chawanmushi. It wasn't too eggy, which was perfect, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was just the pleasure of something soft, umami and extremely creamy. The tendon was super filling, and come on, the tempuras were perfect, nuffsaid.

This is cold soba, which is another one of my favourite japanese cuisine. Cold soba is eaten basically by dipping these noodles in a soy sauce. A very simple and plain dish indeed, but if eaten with tempura or any fried stuff, it is perfect. I had my soba with some korean pancake, and heck it was delish.

I was never a fish fan. I am quite picky when it comes to fish. I love fishes that aren't too fishy except for salmon, despite the fact that i am defeating the purpose of eating fish HAHAHAHA. And yes, i never liked mackerel. But this roasted mackerel was probably the freshest i have ever had. It is a straight up roasted mackerel but some squeezed lemon, but it was the best i've had.

This is the korean pancake i mentioned! Basically, there is nothing too special about korean pancakes, but i was craving for it for the longest time. It has squid and spring onion, and it also comes with a salty and sour dipping sauce. Every bite felt like a euphoria in my mouth. So i thoroughly enjoyed it.
